- Kyendamina Cleophace Mukeba, known as Cleophace, was born in Bujumbura, in the Republic of Burundi. In 1996, he fled the war in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (then known as the Republic of Zaire) and made his way to the Republic of Zambia. Along his journey, he sought asylum in several countries, including Tanzania, Malawi, and Mozambique. He eventually spent nine years living as a refugee in Zambia.
In 2005, Cleophace was resettled in Vermont, USA, along with his wife and daughter. He is now a father of four—two boys and two girls. After resettling, he integrated into the education system and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2012. Two years later, he completed a Master’s degree in Environmental Law and Policy (MELP) from Vermont Law and Graduate School.
Throughout his professional journey, Cleophace has worked in various institutions, including banks and schools. He has also served as an interpreter and translator in hospitals and worked in collaboration with Harvard University in Massachusetts.
A committed activist and advocate, Cleophace focuses on issues affecting the Democratic Republic of the Congo as well as local concerns in Vermont and the greater FM metro area. In June 2022, he founded Baraza La Afrika, where he currently serves as Executive Director.
-Angel DuBois is a registered nurse at Quentin Burdick Memorial Health Care Facility in Belcourt, ND. She currently holds a position as a Public Health Nurse and is the STI/STD coordinator for her department. She has been employed at Quentin Burdick Memorial Health Care Facility since April 2011, after graduating from the University of North Dakota in December 2010 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. She has worked in Public Health since November 2017. Prior to working in Public Health, she worked as Med/Surge and Labor and Delivery Nurse at Quentin Burdick Memorial Health Care Facility. Angel has two daughters and two grandkittens. She enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as traveling in her free time.
- Destiny Blue is a registered nurse at the Quentin Burdick Memorial Health Care Facility in Belcourt ND. She has been a nurse at IHS for the past 9 years, after getting her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Dakota in December 2015. Destiny has worked in a variety of departments including Med Surg, Labor and Delivery, and the Emergency Room. Destiny currently holds a position as a Public Health Nurse. Destiny resides with her husband and three children in Rolla, North Dakota.

| Dr. Paul Carson is an infectious disease specialist who has practiced in MN and ND for over 30 years. He previously held several roles at Sanford Health including Chair of the Department of Infectious Disease, Director of Clinical Research, and Chief Quality Officer. In 2013, he joined the faculty of North Dakota State University in the Dept. of Public Health where he taught on the management of infectious diseases in the Master of Public Health graduate program, and founded and directed the Center for Immunization Research and Education (CIRE). While at NDSU, he was the recipient of the Mary J. Berg Excellence in Teaching Award, the NDSU Faculty Lectureship Award, and the NDMA Physician Community & Professional Services Award. He recently retired from NDSU but remains on faculty in the Department of Public Health as an Emeritus Professor, and currently works as a clinical research faculty at Sanford Health. |

| Nicole grew up in and resides in the beautiful Bitterroot Valley of Montana, and received her degree in Sociology from Montana State University. Her career as a substance misuse Prevention Specialist began in 2009 serving 12 frontier counties in Eastern Montana along the North Dakota border. As the Workforce Development Coordinator for Prevention Support Services, she has provided training and technical assistance to other prevention professionals across Montana since 2019, and most recently began doing the same for the Partnership for Success Grant in North Dakota. Nicole has extensive experience in implementing evidence-based programs, policies, and practices in rural communities, and was instrumental in bringing Prevention Specialist Certification to her home state, where she currently serves as the President of the Montana Prevention Certification Board. She’s a trainer for SPF Application for Prevention Success Training, Ethics in Prevention, SAMHSA’s Core Competencies, and Question, Persuade, Refer Suicide Prevention Training. |

| David Mandel is a seasoned educator and leader with a Ph.D. in Educational Policy and Leadership from the University of Arizona and extensive experience in systems thinking. As principal of a large high school, he led the staff in achieving significant improvements in academic performance and school ratings by focusing on systems design and implementation. While at The College Board, he led implementation of Pre-AP Programs and SpringBoard curriculum by supporting school and district leaders with professional learning and coaching. David has also created systems thinking graduate courses at Pacific University and The University of Arizona. David brings expertise in the areas of implementation and evaluation of programs, learning theory for children and adults, organizational development, and leadership. |

Stacey Herried lives in Bismarck, North Dakota with her two kids, two chocolate labs, and husband. She has worked in NDDEQ's drinking water program for over seven years. She is passionate about the outdoors and spending time with her family.
Sarah Waldron Feld is the Program Manager for the North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality’s National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Permits Program. She began her career with the department in the NDPDES Permits Program in 2013. She attended the University of Wyoming, graduating in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in Biology. Sarah resides in Washburn with her husband and son, and enjoys the small town life. |
